Yates and Co Jewelers has become a family tradition for us, and they help us celebrate special occasions all year long. Mechelle and Ron Yates have a unique combination of gem knowledge, artistic flair, genuine enthusiasm for their craft, and clear delight in working with and pleasing people that we simply connect with. We frequently survey the bountiful selection of jewelry on display, and periodically add to our ongoing Wish List. Although we can't afford to purchase everything we fall in love with, there are usually one or two items that it feels like we must have, and the Yates policy of fair pricing allows us to choose gifts for the winter holiday season and perhaps an upcoming birthday or anniversary.
We have found the entire Yates staff, including Scott, Anna, Cheryl and Ashton, courteous, friendly, and helpful; they seem genuinely happy to see us in the store. The counter displays, which periodically change, are always colorful and clever. Toss in the frequent special sales and promotions (such as last winter's free pearl giveaway with qualifying purchase and the Rainfall program last New Year's), and the fun of shopping for beautiful pieces becomes even more fun.
Whether it's a ring, necklace, or earrings, and whether it's an antique treasure from an estate sale or a cutting-edge piece from talented modern designers, we look forward to every excursion to the Yates showroom. We find that gift shopping is made easy for men, since it's virtually impossible to purchase a piece of jewelry that will fail to please the woman (or women) in their life, and the Wish List concept makes sure that those women get just what they want the most. We are always treated like family at Yates by Ron, Mechelle and their staff. They are willing to work within our budget while providing us excellent service. They have really creative ideas if we want a custom made ring or bracelet and are happy to work with us until we are completely satisfied. Sometimes we go in to Yates just to visit.

I am very pleased to share my experience doing business with and getting to know Mechelle,Ron and family. Since I discovered Yates & Co. Jewelers over 8 years ago, I have found I no longer have any desire to work with other jewelers in Modesto. They meet all my needs! Mechelle and Ron have exquisite taste and have a unique store with wonderful designer pieces, traditional elegance pieces, as well as estate jewelry.
