This functional piece of art is hand crafted by master silversmiths on the island of Bali. Each sterling silver pend is handmade, one at a time. And each pen takes 10 - 20 hours to make. Thus no two will be identical. Balinese silversmiths are considered among the worlds best.
The "JAVAN" design is a traditional Balinese pattern of round disks, or dots. This motif has been used in Bali for centuries in jewelry and finer art.
The cap on the pen unscrews and can be screwed onto the end of the pen. There are also three genuine red garnets bezel set - one on each end and one on the clip. This piece is entirely made by hand and takes approximately 20 hours.
Uses Parker refills. Comes in a lovely wooden presentation box.
