True vintage beauty. This gorgeous engagement ring is estimated to be from the 1915 - 1920s! No reproduction here!
The center stone is an Old European Cut diamond, about .62ct (by formula). It measures 5.62 - 5.52 x 3.11mm. The great thing about these Old European Cut diamonds is how they throw off beautiful flashes of fire. This is due to the way they are faceted - differently than modern cuts. The clarity is SI2 and the color is K-L. However, the color faces up much higher, again a characteristic of Old European Cuts!
There are also four small round single cut diamonds as accents. You will notice on the sides a beautiful hand engraved design. So feminine. The ring is crafted out of precious platinum. So no need to ever rhodium plate it, it will always be bright white color.
This vintage beauty is size 5.75 and weighs 3.3 grams.
