Every love story has its own unique beginning—and for Anna and Eleazar, it all started at UC Merced. What began as a simple friendship slowly blossomed into something deeper. As they got to know each other, it was Anna’s warmth, compassion, and kind heart that captured Eleazar’s attention.

He knew she was someone special.

As their bond grew stronger, Eleazar asked her to be his girlfriend—and from there, they began building a life together. Their journey brought them one of life’s greatest blessings: their son, Leo. Together, they’ve created a beautiful foundation built on love, friendship, and family.

When it came time to take the next step, Eleazar wanted a ring that would reflect just how much Anna means to him. He had heard about Yates & Co Jewelers from a friend who had an amazing experience—and decided to stop by.

With the ring ready, all that was left was choosing the right moment. The place? Montara State Beach—a breathtaking stretch of coastline known for its serene waves and golden sunsets. As the ocean created the perfect backdrop, Eleazar got down on one knee and asked Anna to continue building their life together. She said Yes.
