Ryan and his now-fiancée began as friends, slowly building a connection that turned into something deeper. He planned a trip to San Francisco, complete with a scenic cruise around the bay and a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

It was there, overlooking the city skyline, that he asked her to be his girlfriend—and told her he loved her for the first time.

That trip would go on to shape their story in ways they never imagined. Over the years, San Francisco became their place—celebrating anniversaries, making memories, and falling in love all over again with every return visit.

So when it came time to propose, Ryan brought it all full circle. Another beautiful cruise. Another golden view. Another question that would change everything.
Only this time, it wasn’t “Will you be my girlfriend?”
It was, “Will you marry me?”

For such a meaningful proposal, Ryan was on a mission to find the perfect ring. He had a specific band style in mind—something timeless yet unique—and after searching high and low, he found exactly what he was looking for at Yates.
