This vintage Edwardian platinum and antique diamond necklace is a statement piece. Hand fabricated, not cast, in the traditional method of using a yellow gold (14K or 18K) back with a platinum top. Set with approximately 3.14ctw of antique cut diamonds and seed pearls. Very intricate with every piece of platinum having milgrain detail. It is also hinged in several spots allowing the piece to always hang just right.

The largest diamond is a cushion shaped (Old Mine Cut) that is approximately .60ct, measuring 4.85 - 5.83mm. Set a bit above, surrounded by six (6) smaller Old Mine Cut diamonds, is the next largest at about .50ct, measuring 4.6mm diameter. In all there are forty-three (43) antique diamonds set into this piece. There are also twenty-four (24) pearls.

The piece is large - 3.5" long. Imagine wearing this statement necklace with your special black dress. So stunning!

The Edwardian necklace is still in its original box, which was made just for this piece. The manufacturing jeweler is Ollivant & Bottsford in Manchester, England.
