Crafted in 18K white gold, this stunning Art Deco ring features a dazzling Old European cut diamond set in 6 prongs. The hexagon shaped head is true to the style of this time in the 1930's, as the Art Deco period is characterized by geometric patterns and bold contrasts.
The center diamond weighs .55ct, is I in color and SI1 clarity. Most Old European cut diamonds in this size and larger are a warmer tone of color. It is just a characteristic of the diamonds that were mined during the late 1800s - early 1900s. Their slightly domed top, large facets and open culet offer a distinctive sparkle that is noticeably different than modern brilliant cut diamonds.
