Sorry this gorgeous diamond has sold. Congrats to one fortunate lady!
Shopping for a 2 ct diamond solitaire ring? Looking for a killer deal? We got you covered!
It is a 2.26 ct. It is independently graded by EGLUSA. EGLUSA is the only EGL lab report you should trust. (The the European and New York EGL labs blatantly overgrade diamonds.)
This diamond is G color. Meaning that it is near colorless (very white). On a large diamond like this a G color is hard to find!
It is SI-2 clarity. That means "slightly included". With the naked eye there are no visible inclusions that I can see. Under 10X magnification you can see the inclusions pretty easily however. (But seriously, who is going to walk around with a jewelers loupe in their pocket asking to look at your ring?!)
The diamond is very crisp and bright. Tons of sparkle. The diamond does have a tiny laser drill hole. Why? There must have been an inclusion that could have been eye visible, so the diamond cutter used a laser to make a microscopic hole to remove that inclusion. It improved the appearance of this diamond.
Dimensions: 8.45 - 8.16 x 5.21 mm diameter. Table is 64%, Depth is 62.7%, Fluorescence is None. Report number: US 913297601D
The average price for a 2.25ct Round Diamond, EGLUSA graded, G Color, SI2 Clarity is $16K to $19K. If you haven't already, call up a few jewelers and ask how much this would could cost. Check out the wholesale places on the internet.
Look at the picture of the Appraisal. It is from Universal Gemological Services, a division of EGL USA. It has a replacement value of $33,540. Yep.
This diamond comes in a 14K white gold, 6 pronged, mounting in a size 6. We can size the ring up or down for you.
This is a once in a lifetime deal at $9970.
