The Origin of Lashbrook Designs 

Founded by Utah jeweler Eric Laker in 2000.   Eric had spent 14 years working in retail jewelry stores as a goldsmith and bench jeweler.  Around the beginning of the 21st century, most wedding bands for men were pretty boring.  Eric saw the need for more exciting materials and designs.  So he began working out of his garage making titanium wedding bands.  Soon he began exploring making rings out of tungsten, carbon fiber, cobalt, black zirconium, and more.  

In the early days, Eric traveled across the western United States, visiting jewelry stores to showcase their rings and demonstrate the endless possibilities of customization. His dedication to quality and innovation quickly caught the attention of both retailers and customers alike.

What's Behind the Name?

Eric has a strong connection to his roots. Eric's great, great-grandfather, Lashbrook Laker was born in 1835. He pushed a handcart across the Great Plains to Utah when he was 15. Thus the name Lashbrook has much meaning to Eric. In homage to his pioneer grandfather, Eric chose to name his company after him.
