The Carmine is not for the faint of heart. No, she's a bold ring that will be noticed.
Crafted in rich 18K yellow gold. A nice wide statement band at 11mm at the top and tapering slightly to 6.6mm on the bottom.
Set with twelve (12) natural mined red rubies, for an estimated total carat weight of at least 1.50ctw (probably closer to 1.80ctw). Notice how each set of four (4) rubies are set with a little diamond in the center? And that center diamond is set in a yellow gold setting. Even that little setting has hand applied milgrain detail. Beautiful intricate details!
There are natural round diamonds lining the edges of the ring, and separating the ruby sections. These bright white diamonds add a noticeable border to the rubies. Estimated diamond weight is .60ctw. If you keep these ring clean, the diamonds are rubies sparkle like crazy!
It is a stunning design. It is a well made ring, using fine quality diamonds and rubies. The ring mounting is heavy , 17.9 grams. A luxury piece.
Circa 1980s - 1990s. We meticulously went through the ring and reconditioned it to like-new.
