The Cellini is the Rolex dress watch. The first Cellini was released in the late 1960s. Their style has varied over the years, but the watch cases were always crafted in solid gold or platinum - never in stainless steel. They received their name from the famous Italian goldsmith, sculpter and author, Benvenuto Cellini. He lived during the 1500s and created many beautiful works of art.
Over the years the Cellini has evolved in form and function. The Cellini is often overlooked in the Rolex family, but it is a fine understated dress watch.
This particular Cellini is the model 5116, crafted in 18K yellow gold. The watch has an automatic movement, which has been serviced before we offered it for sale, so it keeps good time.
The alligator leather strap is genuine Rolex (and printed as such on the back side) and has a Rolex 18K gold buckle.
The watch comes with the original Rolex box and warranty paper. It is in great condition and ready for your collection.
