A unique find.  In over 30 years of buying vintage and estate jewelry, we’ve never run across a bracelet like this.  It’s truly a piece of wearable art.

The bracelet is crafted in 14K yellow gold and topped in sterling silver. This was typical during this time period to set diamonds in a white metal.  The style of bracelet could be referred to as “openwork” or filigree.   Notice the intricate, lacy and decorative patterns that resemble an open framework.

A bold statement bracelet from the Victorian era featuring a whopping oval shaped cabochon cut sapphire as the center piece.  The blue beauty is estimated to weigh 28ct (measuring 20 x 13mm).

The sides of the bracelet are embellished with alternating smaller blue sapphires and antique cut diamonds set in an ornate design.  The diamonds are set in sterling silver.  Notice the ribbon like design on either side of the center halo, which drops down into a Fleur-de-lis type design.  Beautiful details!

The blue sapphires on the sides are round cabachon cut, and have an estimated total weight of 3.00ctw or more.  The total diamond weight is estimated at 2.13ctw.

The widest part is 26mm across at the top, which is a tad over 1" wde.   The inside shape of this antique bracelet is oval, which allows it to rest on the wrist bone nicely.

Circa 1890 - 1920.

Fit for a princess.  A stunning head turner.
