A very unique vintage ring! Featuring an Old Mine Cut diamond in the center. Old Mine Cut diamonds are characterized by their cushion or pillow shape, small tables and high crowns. This was a popular diamond cut in the very early 1900's and 1800's. They have kind of a lumpy look to them - they are antique!

The diamond measures 4.73 x 4.58 x 3.37mm, and weight is estimated at .56ct by formula. The diamond has a "white" inclusion that is not noticeable except to the trained eye. The color is L, which means it has a slightly yellow hue. Typical color for diamonds from this era.

The ring is made of palladium. Palladium is a precious metal that is in the platinum family, and it's naturally white (unlike "white gold".) Most palladium rings made during the 1930's were crafted in Europe.

The Holly is set with four genuine rubies - one on each corner. They are between .06 - .07ct each. The ring weighs 4.5 grams, and is a size 8.5. The picture does not show it, but the tips of the center diamond prongs are in yellow gold. Not really noticeable, but want to explain everything in full detail to you.

Any questions, please give us a holler.
