Such a unique bracelet.  Circa 1950 14K white gold, diamond and hand carved spinel "watch" bracelet.

We took a 1950s Hamilton diamond watch that did not run and gave it new life—as a show-stopping bracelet.

Crafted in 14K white gold and set with gorgeous vintage diamonds, this piece had seen better days. The movement was rusted, the dial was toast—but those large diamonds and that design? Too good to let go.

So we reimagined it.

The watch case now holds a hand-carved black spinel, shaped into a delicate flower. We filled the stem hole seamlessly—you’d never know it was once a timepiece! Framing the spinel are 20 bright single-cut diamonds (.30ctw) that pop against the jet-black gem.

The bracelet continues with a graduated line of dazzling round diamonds, tapering from .25ct to .05ct (1.41ctw total). All natural. All sparkly.   Total diamond weight is estimated at 1.71ctw.

And on the back? A sweet inscription:
Genevieve, My wife with love, Lewis. 12/25/63
How romantic is that?

We finished it with a new cord band (6.5” length)

  • Total diamond weight: approx. 1.71ctw
  • Total weight: 8.8gr (5.1gr gold)

This is not just a bracelet—it’s a story retold. A one-off treasure for someone who loves history with a sparkle.
