Drop dead gorgeous ring. Featuring a AAA gem quality approx 2ct Ceylon sapphire in the middle. This is a fabulous sapphire with the highly sought after Royal Blue color and a top end cut. Gorgeous color and wonderful brilliance.
Finding a sapphire of this quality in a round brilliant shape is extremely rare. The reason is because to cut a round shape out of the rough material there is a huge waste of the rough stone. So most cutters will cut sapphires in fancy shapes, like ovals or cushion cuts - not rounds. This particular rough stone was shaped perfectly for a round, thus not much loss of material. This translates into a better price for this gem.
We source our nicer Ceylon sapphires directly from Sri Lanka, eliminating one to two middlemen and their markup.
The ring is an award winning design from Parade Designs. The ring features three different shapes of diamonds: round brilliant, pear shape and marquise shape. So fun.
